Chapter 5 : Not Here

Chidi was able to lift her, he then placed her on the pool side and proceeded to resuscitate her, he was able to get all the water out of her lungs, Isabella coughed and coughed, everyone at the pool party clapped in mockery one of them said "wow that's my hero Chidi" and laughed, Chidi went to the m.c grabbed the microphone and said "the party is over everyone leave here now security do your job".

All the security men came running into the house were the pool party was being held and they politely sent everyone out of the premises one of the guests whispered to each other "because of that stupid girl in red i hate her" they all eventually left, meanwhile when Sergio came out of the house every one was gone he was surprised, he saw Isabella wet on a pool chair, he went to meet her.

Sergio asked a very tired and wet Isabella what happened Isabella could not talk instead she said "i want to go home oh chei what is this" she sneezed to remove water from her nose, Sergio dropped the glass and decided to take her home, when they got into the car Isabella started crying, Sergio did not comfort her, instead he started the engine.

Chapter 7 : Invitation

When she arrived at the party venue, she was a bit shocked at the amount of people, she mumbled underneath her breath once again "socialites" she then went towards the entrance, she was suddenly stopped by the security bouncers "invite please" said one of the security bouncer's, Adaora was surprised no one had ever asked her for an invite to enter a party, surely they knew who she was.

Adaora had left her invite on the vanity table in her bedroom, and it clearly stated "bring this invite with you" Adaora did not care she demanded to enter and the security bouncer said "no invite no entry" Adaora fumed inside of her she said "do you know who i am how dare you" the security bouncer most definitely shoved her aside.

While all this was going on, Mariam one of Adaora's sworn enemies walked past her and said "wow  Adaora is having the opposite of a good day" and bust into a loud laughter with her friends, Adaora was so ashamed, what was she going to do, things like this should not be happening to her.

Adaora walked quietly to her car the driver opened the back seat door and Adaora said "did i ask you to open the door" her driver was confused but still apologised "am sorry ma" she thought to herself maybe i should call Belinda, she quickly brought out her phone and dialed Belinda's number it rang and someone else picked up.

Chapter 4 : I Can't Swim

Isabella waited in the school's garden for Sergio, she waited for atleast an hour before Sergio arrived in his Mercedes G-wagon she was so excited, she opened the door and got in the car, she shivered on the drive to the pool party, Sergio said "are you cold i can turn down the a.c", Isabella immediately said "no no i am okay" while shivering, when they arrived the destination, Isabella got out of the car, she was so surprised she had never seen so many rich faces in one place before.

As they both proceeded to enter the party, they all looked at Isabella and laughed, one of the rich girl's in attendance said "who is this one and what is she wearing" Isabella had never felt so humiliated in her life she decided to keep calm, Sergio brought her a drink in an expensive glass, Isabella did not know how to hold the glass, so it fell of her hand.

Sergio laughed and said "i would get you another glass don't worry" Sergio went to get another drink for Isabella, Isabella was standing so close to the pool when someone slightly nodged her on purpose, Isabella fell into the deep end of the pool, she screamed "i can't swim help, i can't swim" she was practically drowning and the guests at the pool party did nothing they were all laughing. Then Chidi dived into pool and rescued her.

Chapter 6 : I Love You

Adaora was hesitant, her mother could not cut her of completely, and she was still bent on attending the party that evening, she would wear one of her other dresses, she thought to herself, what would her peers say at the party.

She immediately brushed that thought aside, when she got home she refused to speak to her mother, her mother did not care, it was in her best interest if she kept quiet about the incident that had happened earlier, maybe her mother would come to her senses and realize she was still her daughter.

She walked into her walk in closet, it looked like a shopping mall itself, she went through her clothes that were colour co-ordinated by the maids at the mansion, she then made a choice, it was a last season's dolce and gabbana dress, it still had the price tag on it.

She then picked a pair of dior slip-ons, it was a dress to impress party hosted by the socialites, but Adaora was not in any mood, so she opted for the comfortable look, when she was done getting ready, she quickly ran a brush through her hair and called her driver.

She was about to press the button on the elevator in the mansion for it to open, her mother sighted her, "young lady were are you going too" Adaora totally ignored her mother who had asked her a question, her mother spoke again "you better be back before 12pm or else you would be locked out" Adaora quickly entered the elevator, got to the grand foyer arranged her hair one more time while taking a look at the mirror and proceeded to the car.

Chapter 3 : Pool Party

Sergio was waiting for Isabella's reply she then said while touching her hair "i mean you did not ask me my name" Femi looked at her with disdain and said "who needs your stupid name just answer the damn question or leave her" they all laughed again almost falling to the ground, Isabella did not know how to swim and she did not have anything to wear she then said "okay i would attend the party". 

Sergio looked at her again and said "great were do i pick up from" Isabella was ashamed of Aisha's place so she said "pick me up here" Sergio laughed again with his friends, Femi then said "you leave in the school garden please leave this girl she's too bush abeg" they all laughed once again then Sergio said "okay i would pick you up here" with that they left.

Isabella was so happy she ignored the fact that Sergio and his friends had undermined her, what am i going to wear she thought to herself, she only had worn out clothes, she decided to borrow Aisha's favourite red dress, she begged and asked Aisha for the red dress Aisha eventually gave it to her. Isabella wore the red dress she looked a bit put together, she put her hair up in bun and wore her worn out sandals she then headed towards the school's garden to wait for Sergio.

Chapter 5 : Declined

Caroline offered to pay for what Adaora had picked in the store but Adaora was furious, she stormed  out of the store pulled out her phone and called her mother, her mother answered "can i help you madam" Adaora replied "my card is not working" with anger in her voice.

Her mother replied "that is because i froze all your accounts and club memberships" Adaora screamed in anger "WHAT WHY" her mother had previously warned her earlier about her excessive spending, her mother replied "you have to learn to be more responsible madam" with that her mother hung up the phone.

Adaora was not happy, everyone was staring at her at the exclusive mall, Caroline and Emeka walked towards her, Caroline spoke "are you okay" Adaora shoved Caroline aside, she rung her driver "bring the car around now" her driver arrived at the entrance, Adaora quickly walked to the car in her prada heels.

On their drive home, Adaora thought of how stupid she looked swiping her card over and over again, how could her mother do this to her, how could she freeze her accounts and club memberships, her social life was practically ruined, she also thought to her self, Caroline would tell every one what happened at the exclusive mall, a whole Adaora could not pay for the designer clothes she picked.

Chapter 2 : School Days

Isabella was admitted into the Benue university to study business administration, it was one of the happiest days of her life, she was going to leave her wretched parents so she thought, who had worked hard to the bones to send her to school, Isabella never attended classes instead she would seat in the school's garden admiring those rich young boys.

Aisha would finish attending lectures and ask Isabella if she attended any classes, Isabella would lie to her and say "yes i did the class was so boring" Aisha did not believe her but she would say nothing, Aisha knew Isabella did not attend any classes, she had seen her a couple of times in the school's garden admiring those boys from rich homes.

Isabella decided that she was going talk to these rich boys, she gradually approached one of them called Sergio, Sergio was an international student who transferred from Russia, his parents had sent him to Benue university in Nigeria to learn some lessons about life because he was really stubborn and unruly it was either that or they would disown him, so Sergio decided to come to Nigeria, he was really good looking so were his other rich friends Skylar and Femi.

Sergio looked at Isabella and laughed so hard, he turned to his friends who were seated on their maserati and said "who is this one now" they all laughed at Isabella then a thought came to Sergio's mind he then said to Isabella "would you like to attend a pool party" his friends were shocked, Femi tapped him and said to him "what are you doing".

Chapter 4 : Cards

Caroline was also very pretty, she was new money not old money and Adaora detested her so much, she felt Caroline was not up to level in life, but she was able to get into their social circle through her that Emeka, Emeka was Adaora's ex boyfriend, she had practically lost her virginity to him.

As Caroline approached Adaora she was not alone she was with Emeka, Adaora mumbled underneath her breath these two, they were so inseparable they went everywere together, and to think she was once in love with this Emeka.

Adaora put on a fake smile, she did not like Caroline one bit, Caroline spoke "hey dear how are you" air kiss, Adaora replied "am great just came to do some shopping" Caroline replied "me too let's go in Emeka come on" Emeka still had feelings for Adaora, she had broken up with him for no reason.

They all walked into the mall, Adaora sighted the first store, she casually walked towards the chanel store Caroline followed her, Adaora thought to her self would this girl go away, Adaora picked up a few pieces and went to pay.

She was about to pay for the clothings she had picked, Caroline came along, Adaora put on another fake smile, Adaora swiped her card but it did not go through it declined, she thought to herself this could not be happening, Caroline was amazed, Adaora said with anger in her voice "try it again".

Chapter 1 : The Elite Pact

Isabella was a pretty young woman who was very ruthlessly, her whole life was about to be disrupted by some people called the elite pact, for once in Isabella's life she was really scared, what would they do to her if they caught her she thought to herself, Isabella arrived at her duplex packed a few things and hurriedly left for the airport.

She drove as fast as she could, she did want to miss her flight to Morocco that was the place she felt safe, Isabella did not come from a wealthy nor rich family, her father and mother were very poor, Isabella vowed she was going to break the poverty chain in her family by any means possible, so she played with fire.

Isabella arrived Benue in Nigeria seven years ago with nothing but a wretched suit case filled with old worn out clothes, she planned to stay with her friend Aisha for some time untill she was able to find a job while going to school, Isabella was not your average innocent girl, she was willing to do anything to make money, even if it meant sleeping with all the rich young boys on campus.

These boys were rich they drove the nicest cars, wore fancy designer clothes and even had lunch at the most expensive resturants, Isabella envied them so much that she wished she could be like them.

Chapter 3 : Tonight We Party

It was a long drive from her mother's office building to the mansion, during the drive Adaora could not stop thinking about what her mother had said to her at the office building.

She was not ready to be the laughing stock around her peers, speaking of which she had a party to attend that evening, she hoped Tonye and his friends would not be there, but she had nothing to wear, so she thought.

Adaora could not be caught repeating clothes, she had a reputation to uphold she quickly ordered her driver to take her to the most exclusive mall in that vicinity her driver responded by saying "yes ma" he re-routed the trip on the GPS monitor and headed straight to the mall.

When they arrived at the exclusive mall were only the wealthy shopped he quickly ran to open the back seat, Adaora stepped out of the car arrogantly and made her way to the doors at the exclusive mall.

As she was about to enter she sighted a familiar face it was Caroline, she thought to her self what is this annoying girl doing here, Caroline also saw her and waved with a smirk on her face. Adaora was not in any mood to exchange pleasantries.

Chapter 2 : Revenge

Tonye was a dashing young man, he was what one would call super wealthy, his father owned a chain of multi billion dollar franchises all over the world, his monthly allowance was robust, it could buy ten super yachts at a go, and there would be no dent.

He slowly took of his designer sunglasses and said "Adaora Adaora Adaora" with a devious smile on his face "how many times did i call you eh, i told you i would have you i mean take over this empire" and he sped of in his ferrari. 

What a day Adaora was having first it was her mom threatening to cut her of, then Tonye, but why would Tonye say such a thing, was he under the influence or something, before she could recollect her thoughts a her Bentley with her driver in it pulled up, she was so furious as always with her mother's workers "were have you being, i called you a minute ago" her driver was so scared he did not want to loose his job.

He hurriedly came out of the car, as he was about to open the back seat door for Adaora, a slap echoed in his ear she said "you fool why waste my time" he apologised immediately and Adaora entered the car.

Chapter 1 : Empire

Adaora stormed out of the conference room in her mother's office building with one thing on her mind revenge, she was going to back at all of them for what they did to her.

Adaora was a very beautiful woman with pretty long hair, she always dressed up so nice and she smelled so good, why wouldn't she her clothes were so expensive, she wore only designer clothes, carried the latest designer bags and she would not wear a last season anything.

She was so upset her mother was threatening her, so she thought, her mother was going to disinherit her, which meant cutting her of completely which also meant, no more shopping sprees, expensive paid vacations and no more friends.

Adaora was the life of the party, she could not afford to loose out, she was at the risk of being disinherited. Her latest edition gold vertu phone rang, one of the most expensive phones in the world, she picked it up and said "meet me at the office" she hung up the phone immediately and proceeded to the elevator, she pushed the down button the elevator doors opened and she stepped in with her latest season prada high heel shoes.

When she arrived the office lobby she stepped outside, while she was outside waiting for her driver, a red ferrari pulled up, when the windows were rolled down, she saw Tonye.

Milkshake or freakshake

 Do we prefer a milkshake? I mean it looks really appetizing, i have had a couple of milkshakes in the past, so i know how it tastes, but the soft feeling it gives on the tongue, very cool and sensational.

Or do we prefer a freakshake ? Now freakshakes on the other hand, i have never tried, i do not know whether freakshakes are too sweet or slightly sweet, and it also looks very appetizing.
