Chapter 28 : Mercenaries

Because of his affluence Tonye had big connections he gently opened the door to a building across town and walked in, there were ten skilled able bodied mercenaries standing before him, they greeted him "afternoon sir" he replied "yes afternoon, to the task at hand a girl is missing and i need her to be found asap".

Raj was on his laptop computer working on locating Adaora through her mobile number, this could actually work Raj thought to himself, a few minutes later he said "yes i found her" he called Tonye and said "i have found her i will send her location" Tonye replied "thanks man i owe you one" with that Tonye hung up the call.

Adaora could not stop crying at the location she was being held captive, Joanne walked in and said "you are still crying" Adaora replied in tears "why are you doing this i helped you at the salon just" Joanne interrupted her "just what Adaora, do you know how it feels to be rejected by your own mother do you look at me" Adaora was so sacred.

Adaora replied "i don't know how it feels joanne but am sure our mother would like to see you" Joanne said in anger "lies that is a lie she abandoned me when i was a little baby with that aweful woman who mistreated me i hate her" all Adaora wanted to do was escape from her captors, she wished she was at the mansion in her own room right now.

Chapter 25 : You Tricked Me

Isabella arrived Aisha's place and she waited for Chidi to send her the money, she paced back and forth in the bedroom their was still no ding on her phone she practically waited a whole day and finally she heard a ding on her phone she looked to see the amount, she converted the naira equivalent into dollar in her head it was not complete, Chidi had only sent two hundred thousand dollars to her instead of five hundred thousand she was angry.

She decided to call Chidi which she did the phone rang a few times before he picked the call he said "hello" Isabella said "this money is not complete you only sent two hundred thousand instead of five hundred thousand why" Chidi laughed a bit and said "that is because the client was not satisfied with your performance".

Isabella was so angry she said "why are you doing this please give me the rest of the money" Chidi replied "no i won't you should perform better next time moreover five hundred thousand is a lot of money for you" with that he laughed and hung up the call.

Isabella was so angry she had being tricked, she felt so uneasy with herself, she was the one selling her body and Chidi was pratically taking ninety percent of the money but what could she do.

Chapter 27 : How Many Carats

When Kenny arrived at his mother's office building, he sighted his mother's car, he immediately ran past the security doors and tapped the elevator button so many times for it to open, it eventually opened, he quickly got in pressed the floor he was going to mutiple times for the elevator doors to close.

When he got to the top floor he ran out once again and headed straight to his mother's main office, when he got there he saw his mother in tears, she was about to sign the papers, he quickly rushed and grabbed it from her and said in a calm tone "mom why are you doing this don't sign this papers i told you i was going to handle it" his mother was utterly devastated she said "i do not want your sister to be sold into slavery". Kenny was shocked by what he had heard.

Adaora's father was in the mansion's home office trying to figure out why Chief Adebayo wanted his wife's assets and the corporations, unkown to Adaora's father his wife also owned a diamond mining firm in South Africa which brought in trillions of dollars every year.

Adaora's mother had kept it hidden from her husband and children for years it was tied to her other corporations so it could not be traced, when the wicked Chief Adebayo found out about it he wanted Adaora's mother to sign over ownership of her assets and Corporations to him.

Chapter 24 : His Girls

When Isabella saw Aisha in the kitchen, she decided to help her with the dishes and also give her some ice cream, Aisha saw her and said "you are back" Isabella replied "yes i am i got you ice cream" Aisha was surprised to see the label on the ice cream cup, she gave it a taste and said "wow its really nice and it looks expensive" Isabella replied "that is because it is" slowly licking the ice cream, Aisha then asked her "who was that man that came to pick you up this afternoon in that nice car".

Isabella looked at a confused Aisha and said "he his my boyfriend" Aisha was shocked she said "your what, i did not know you had a boyfriend" Isabella replied "now you know please is the food ready am famished".

Aisha laughed a bit and replied "i thought you went out with your boyfriend he did not get you anything to eat, this my friend" Isabella replied "that is because we were busy doing" Aisha laughed again and said "doing what this girl your too bad take your food" Aisha gave her a plate of food and they both went inside to eat.

Lauren one of Chidi's girls, she was seated in a private hotel room waiting on her client, Isabella was meant to join her that evening which she did, when they were both done having sex with the female client they left, Lauren had a case full of money in her hand while Isabella waited for Chidi to send her own share of the money into her account.

Chapter 26 : Don't Sign It

Kenny went to check on his mother, she was still crying she said "my precious daughter why" Kenny immediately went to her and said "everything would be fine mom" his mother was so sad he could see it, he said "mom can i get you anything tea, cakes i know you like cakes" his mother really liked cakes especially chocolate.

She wiped her eyes a bit and said "you always know what makes me happy but i can't" Kenny interrupted her and said "i would get you tea and cakes" with that he quickly went to the kitchen he called one of the maids and said "make my mother tea with some cakes on the side" the maid hurriedly did so.

The maid was about carrying the tray when Kenny said "don't worry i would take it up to her" the maid replied "okay sir" Kenny took the tray and headed to the master bedroom when he got there his mother was no were to be found, he dropped the tray on the stool and asked one of the maids "have you seen my mom" the maid replied "she stepped out sir" Kenny was anxious "to were" the maid replied "to her office building sir".

Kenny immediately pushed the maid aside hopped into his lamborghini and headed straight to his mother's office building, Adaora's mother was going to sign the papers, she could not let that wicked Chief Adebayo sell her daughter into slavery.

Chapter 23 : Cheated On Me

Chidi was so excited, when he got into his condo, he turned on some music it was so loud that the even nearest neighbour could hear it, but he did not care, there was a knock on the door Chidi did not hear because the music was so loud, when Chidi turned towards the door he saw Elsa just standing there looking at him with a slightly protruding belly, he said to her "Elsa what are you doing here and how did you walk past the door man and the concierge"

Elsa then said in tears "Chidi i love you why are you treating me this way" Chidi turned down the music and said "Elsa we broke up remember" Elsa then said "but i still love you" Chidi then said "but you cheated on me with my friend Tunde i trusted you" Elsa was still crying, Chidi walked up to her looked into her eyes, Elsa thought Chidi was going to kiss her and he said "please just leave and don't come back again".

Elsa was so angry she said "so your kicking me out because of that stupid girl Isabella" Chidi was so shocked he said "how do you" he was interrupted by Elsa who said "yes i know her you won't get away with this i promise" with that she left the condo.

Chapter 25 : No Hiding Place

Tonye immediately reversed his ferrari, Kenny was still on the line he said "hello Tonye are you there" Tonye replied "give me a sec i am going to get to the bottom of this i would call you later" with that he hung up the call, Tonye was not happy no one was allowed to abduct his future wife Adaora.

When Tonye arrived at his destination he put a call to Raj, Raj was a big shot in the tech industry he could find anyone at any place at any time, Raj was also on vacation in Bali with his girl Sonia, Raj picked up the call he said "Tonye my guy were have you being" Tonye replied "i have being everywere, look i need a favour from you" Raj replied "sure anything".

Tonye knew Raj could handle this he said "Adaora has been abducted" Raj immediately stood up and took of his designer sunglasses he was also shocked "what did you say" Tonye replied "you heard me you know she is my future wife right and this cannot be happening". Raj replied "i know i know, so what can i do to help" Tonye replied "can you access her recent location through the main database" Raj replied "yes i can, don't worry leave it all to me" with that Tonye hung up the call.
