Chapter 37 : Celebration

Samantha was really pacing back and forth with a glass of whisky in her hand, she decided to turn on the television, the news was on to her surprise she saw her father being handcuffed and taken away by the cops at the airport, she screamed so loud and threw the glass of whisky to the ground the glass shattered into tiny little pieces.

Meanwhile at the mansion Adaora's parents decided to throw her a welcome home party it was a big celebration so many dignitaries were in attendance, nice music was playing, there was a lot to eat and so much to drink, while all this was going on Adaora pulled her mother to side took to the wine cellar and asked her "when were you going to tell me you had another daughter aside me" her mother was so shocked with tears in her eyes she said "how did you find out". 

Samantha also got an invitation to Adaora's welcome home party, she was furious and decided to attend with a pistol in her purse, when she arrived the mansion she got out of her maserati and went towards the entrance she showed her invite and they let her in, one of the security men alerted the others by saying "we have trouble".

Chapter 33 : Dinner Date

Mike was so handsome he also came from a very wealthy family like Chidi, but Mike was way nicer and caring Isabella was so happy for once in her life, then Mike did the unthinkable he asked Isabella for her account number Isabella gave it to him, he sent her two million dollars, Isabella got a ding on her phone and checked it she saw the large amount she put her hand over her mouth in surprise.

Isabella was even more happy she gave Mike a hug then Mike said "i gave you that sum so you would stop doing this and be my girl" Isabella looked at Mike and said "i can't i mean they would harm me" Mike then said "who would harm you" Isabella was scared she said "i can't tell you" Mike then said "how about dinner tomorrow night" Isabella had a thought what was this man up to, first he would not sleep with her, gave her a large sum of money and now he his asking her out on a dinner date.

Isabella then said with a smile on her face "yes i would go on a dinner date with you can we leave now is getting too hot in here" Mike laughed and said "yes we can" he unlocked the door and they stepped out.

Chapter 36 : Welcome Home

Tonye started the engine to his red ferrari with Adaora in the passenger's sit Tonye looked at a slightly nervous Adaora held her hand and asked "are you ready to go home" Adaora was a bit hesitant she said "not really after all i have seen and heard in the past forty eight hours am not sure" Tonye replied "its alright i am so sure your parents would be happy to see their precious daughter" and he smiled at Adaora.

They arrived the mansion went in through the main gate, Tonye packed his red ferrari, he opened the door for Adaora, she got out of the car they both held hands and headed straight to the mansion, Kenny was the first to sight both of them he was surprised he screamed "Adaora, my sister is back" the detectives and the special agents were shocked likewise Adaora's mother and father, Kenny went to hug his sister, Adaora smiled and hugged him back.

Adaora's mother looked at her and said "my lovely daughter you are back, she proceeded to give Adaora a hug but Adaora was reluctant, Adaora's father was so excited he said "my daughter how did you escape from that evil man" Adaora replied "i did not i was rescued" her father said "by who" Adaora replied "Tonye here sent some men to save me" Adaora"s father gave Tonye a firm hand shake and said "thank you my son thank you".

Chapter 32 : His So Caring

About an hour later the escalade came to pick Isabella up from Aisha's place, she got in the car and the driver drove away, on the drive to Chidi's condo Isabella wondered why she was meeting a client at Chidi's condo she had never met a client there, what was he up to, they soon arrived the condo, Isabella got out of the car and headed towards the elevator, the concierge greeted her and she answered.

When she arrived, she knocked on Chidi's door, he opened the door she entered, she also saw Lauren and another handsome man, Chidi then introduced Isabella to Mike, his friend Mike looked at Isabella and smiled he said "wow you are so pretty" Chidi then said "enough of this let's get on with it" Mike said "i want just Isabella with me tonight".

Chidi was so surprised he said "but you wanted two" Mike then said "i know i said i wanted two but i have changed my mind just Isabella please" with that Mike and Isabella went into the guestroom, Mike was locking the door while Isabella was taking of her clothes Mike then looked at her and said "what are you doing i just want to talk i would still pay you" Isabella was shocked none of them ever wanted to talk so she thought to herself, she put her clothes back on and sat on the bed, they talked and laughed for hours they even exchanged numbers.

Chapter 35 : Airport

While Chief Adebayo was on his way out Samantha his daughter ran up to him and said "why are your bags packed were are you of too" Chief Adebayo said "i don't have time for this were is that stupid driver" Samantha was confused she said in anger "Dad i am talking to you what is going on".

Chief Adebayo was in a hurry he beckoned on his driver, when his driver went to meet him he gave him a slap to the face and said "you idiot where were you come and take me to the airport now" his driver held his face after receiveing a hot slap and said "yes Chief" Chief Adebayo threw his bags into the trunk of the car and entered the car, Samantha came running towards them Chief Adebayo said to his driver "if you stop this car you would get fired" his driver drove of.

A lot was going though Chief Adebayo's mind, but it was too late for him to have a rethink of all his evil atrocities, they arrived the airport twenty minutes later, Chief Adebayo immediately got out of his car and told his driver to bring out his bags, his driver did as instructed and then said "should i check it in for you Chief" Chief Adebayo replied in an angry tone "no don't i would do it myself just take the car home" his driver obliged and drove of. 

There were so many cops outside the airport entrance, Chief Adebayo was about to enter the airport when one of the cops said to him "stop right there, were to Chief Adebayo, anyways you are under arrest" they handcuffed him, read him his rights and took him away.

Chapter 31 : Being Watched

Ming explained to Isabella why she needed to work with the cops she said "its for your own protection my dear you might even be watched as we speak" Isabella was even more scared but she agreed, Ming then said "i would give you a call later to tell you whom to meet for your protection" with that they hugged and went their separate ways.

Meanwhile Isabella was actually being watched by some men from the elite pact one of them dialed Jeffery's number and said "boss we have a huge problem" Jeffrey sat up and said "what kind of  problem" the man said "that girl Isabella has being talking to some journalist she might have told her everything and what we do" Jeffrey said "what just keep an eye on her follow her everywhere do you get me" with that he hung up the call.

Isabella arrived Aisha's place she sat on the bed and thought out loud to herself "what have i gotten my self into because of money now look at it, i should not have signed that paper i should have just concentrated on my studies instead i wanted to mingle with rich people" she then lay on the bed.

A few minutes later her phone rang it was Chidi she ignored the call at first then decided to answer she said "hello what is it" Chidi said "hey don't speak to me like that i have a client for you i would send a car to pick you up and bring you to my condo" Isabella said "not at the private hotel" Chidi said "no not at the hotel at my condo" with that he hung up the call.

Chapter 34 : Were To

Adaora woke up the next morning no longer in shock, she was feeling so refreshed, Tonye walked in on her stretching with breakfast on a tray in his hands he said "goodmorning miss sunshine how are you feeling" with a smile on his face, Adaora reciprocated the smile and said "i feel better but what if Chief Adebayo and his goons come looking for me i" Tonye interrupted her nicely by saying "why would he, his probably shaking in his boots right now he committed a huge crime by abducting you" he then kissed Adaora on the forehead and said "i really like you a lot and i would not let any harm come to you now eat up" Adaora was surprised she said "Tonye you like me" Tonye replied "yes i do".

Chief Adebayo got to his house hurriedly packed a few things and called his travel agent, when the travel agent picked up she said "hello chief" Chief Adebayo replied "i need a one way business class ticket to Brussels" his travel agent was surprised she said "Chief why Brussels i thought" Chief Adebayo interrupted her and said "why are you asking me all these questions just get me the ticket" with that he hung the call.

Unknown to Chief Adebayo his travel agent was an undercover cop she had being sent to investigate Chief Adebayo after a series of hostile takeovers, and his ways were questionable, she immediately placed a call to the headquarters the phone rang and someone picked up she said "chief Adebayo is on his way to Brussels his trying to flee the country" the cop on the other line replied "we are going to get him at the airport" with that she hung up the call.

Chapter 30 : Tell Me Everything

Isabella made a decision, she was going to meet with the journalist and tell her everything, Isabella dialed Ming's number, Ming picked up the call and said "hello have you made up your mind to speak to me" Isabella said "yes i would tell you everything when i see you" Isabella picked the time and a discreet location, with that she hung up the call.

When Isabella arrived the location she sat down on one of the chairs then a beautiful slender woman approached her and said "are you Isabella" Isabella said "yes who is asking" the woman then said "i am Ming the journalist" Isabella was relieved she said "thanks for meeting with me can we start".

Ming looked at Isabella who had bruises on her arm and said "did they do this to you" Isabella replied "i said i was going to tell you everything didn't i" Ming then brought a tape recorder, a book and a pen, Ming then said "you may proceed my dear" Isabella told her everything in details from how she met Chidi to how she went to a party and signed a paper to how she started sleeping with rich men and women for money, Ming was not so surprised she said "you would need protection from these people because when this news comes out you would be a target". Isabella was scared she said "what you did not tell me all this over the phone". 

Chapter 33 : Why Me

Tonye went to check on his future wife, he met a sleeping Adaora on the bed, he slowly went to tuck her in and closed the door quietly. Meanwhile Chief Adebayo arrived at the house in the woods only to find his goons tied to the ground, he immediately went to the room were he thought Adaora was being held, he could not find her. 

He went straight to one of the tied goons and asked "you incompetent fools were is she" the tied goons did not answer he said again "you idiots how did she escape" one of the goons said reluctantly "she did not escape she was rescued by some men" Chief Adebayo was so angry he gave one of the goon's a punch to the face, he quickly got into his car started the engine and left.

Adaora's mother woke up the next morning her maids came to attend to her all she could say in tears was "why me why me oh" one of the maids said to her "madam everything would be fine" Kenny walked in on his crying mother in his silk pajamas and said in a calm tone "mom you are still crying its going to be okay Adaora would come back safe and sound" Adaora's mother replied "i hope so my son".

Chapter 29 : Meeting Point

The next evening the escalade came to pick up Isabella, she was so frightened on the drive to the private hotel, she remembered the conversation she had with Ming the journalist and decided to brush it aside, unknown to Isabella this client she was going to meet was one of the worst none of Chidi's girls had agreed to go see him because he usually would leave them with scars and bruises, Isabella did not know this.

When they arrived the private hotel, Isabella went up to his hotel room she knocked on the door and a huge man with a pot belly answered, Isabella greeted him and the man said "come in and take of your clothes" Isabella was not surprised she came in and did as she was told, the man slapped her and threw to the ground Isabella started crying when he was done he said "put on your clothes and leave now".

Isabella could barely stand up she was so weak with scars all over her body the man then said "you better leave now or would throw you out myself" Isabella quickly put on her clothes and left. 

When she arrived Aisha's place she went to boil hot water in a kettle when it was boiled, she slowly took of her clothes and went into the bathroom, while she was having her bath she thought out loud "this man is so wicked look at my body" when she was done having her bath she came out and went straight to her phone there was a ding she checked the amount it was not complete, Chidi had only sent two hundred thousand dollars again she was so angry she almost threw the phone to the ground.

Chapter 32 : Rescue Mission

The moment they entered the room were Adaora was they quickly grabbed her with no time to waste and said "we would explain everything to you later ma just come with us" Adaora was not willing to ask any questions either, she immediately went with them, its was a successful rescue mission.

They untied Adaora, got into the helicopter and took her straight to Tonye, when they arrived at their destination, Tonye was so pleased to see Adaora, Adaora on the other hand was surprised she said "you sent them to save me" Tonye replied "yes i did you know i like you eh let's take you home". Adaora felt so relieved she said "but i need to freshen up a bit i look a mess" Tonye replied "no problem" they headed straight to Tonye's downtown condo.

An hour later they arrived Tonye's downtown condo, Adaora stepped out of the red ferrari and headed straight to the condo's lobby, Tonye pressed the penthouse suit on the elevator the doors opened they entered and the doors closed, no one said a word to each other it was quite awkward, when they arrived the penthouse suit on the top floor Adaora was still in shock.

Tonye gave her some fresh clothes and pointed towards the guest bathroom, Adaora took a nice long shower she thought to herself what an ordeal, when she got out of the shower she put on the clothes Tonye had given her earlier, she was also too tired so she lay on the comfortable bed.

Chapter 31 : Time

The special agents were unable to trace the call, that was the least of Adaora's mother's problems, with tears rolling down her eyes she spoke "let me just sign the papers i dont want him to sell my daughter into slavery oh" with her hand on her head Adaora's father was not having it he spoke "so you can sign away everything to him are you okay" Kenny looked so sad he did not like seeing his parents like this, meanwhile Chief Adebayo went to meet Adaora he said "my dear your mother is not complying so Russia or Dubai which do you prefer" Adaora was confused she said with tears in her eyes "what do you mean" Chief Adebayo spoke "slavery my dear i would sell you into slavery if your mother does not sign those papers" with that Chief Adebayo left the room were Adaora was being held.

There was a loud noise coming from the back of the house were Adaora was being held, one of the goons went to check what it was making that awful noise so he thought, as he approached the scene he was immediately knocked unconscious by one of the mercenaries, they soon entered the house after tackling and tieing the goons down to the ground, when they got into the house they went straight to the room were Adaora was being held captive.

Chapter 28 : Chidi My Cut

Isabella was about to leave when Chidi pulled her back and said "okay two million dollars just get ready tomorrow the car would come pick you up" with that he entered his car and left, when she got in the house a lot was going through her mind do you know what i could do with two million dollars i can by a mansion and take trips all over the world she thought to herself.

Her life would practically change, then her phone rang it was a strange number she picked up the call she said "hello who is this" the person spoke "i am ming a journalist from a news paper corporation i would like to speak to you person if you don't mind" Isabella was surprised what would a journalist want with her could this be a joke" she then said "why would you want to speak to me in person" the journalist ming said "is about Chidi and his so called organisation or should i call it an escort service".

Isabella was surprised she said "how do you know about Chidi and" she was immediately interrupted by Ming she said "i know what you do for Chidi is either you speak to me or the cops would, so tell me were you want us to meet and talk" Isabella was so frightened she then said "can i call you back i want to decide on a place were we could meet" Ming then said "no problem just give me a call on this number okay don't waste time" with that she hung up the call. Isabella did not want to risk speaking to the cops or going to jail for Chidi.

Chapter 30 : Planted

Who could have planted this detonator they all thought to themselves, one of the special agent said "this family is really in danger" they all left the pool house and headed towards the mansion, one of the special agent pulled one of the detective aside and asked "is there a need to move them to the safe house for their protection" the detective replied "no not yet we are on to something here".

Kenny thought to himself who could have planted that detonator in the pool house and why was his mother talking about a diamond mining firm, all this while he had only known ownership to hotels and resorts not a diamond mining firm, what was his mother hiding.

The phone at the mansion rang it was that strange number again one of the special agent suggested Adaora's mother pick up the call, so she did she spoke "hello who is this" Chief Adebayo spoke "is me again i guess you would soon be doing some renovations to the pool house" he let out a horrible laugh, Adaora's mother was shocked she said "it was you, you this wicked man i" Chief Adebayo interrupted her he said "time is running out, you better sign the papers or else" with that he hung up the call, Adaora's mother could not hold her tears back.

Chapter 27 : Journalist

Isabella was on her way to Aisha's place carrying a plate of beans and rice in a plastic bag, she had left her iphone in the room to charge while she quickly went down the road to get food, when she got back, she opened the door and saw Chidi laughing and chatting with Aisha, Isabella was furious but she kept her calm, she then said "Chidi your here you did not tell me you were coming".

Chidi then said "i called your phone a couple of times but you were not answering why" Isabella quickly ran to the bedroom to check she saw seven missed calls, she then went back to were Chidi and Aisha were seated Isabella then said "Chidi can we talk outside" Chidi looked at Aisha shook hand and said "it was nice chatting with you Aisha see you some other time" with that him and Isabella stepped outside.

When they went outside Isabella said "what do you want this time" Chidi then said "don't speak to me like that after all i am helping your life" Isabella said "okay am sorry i am just" she was interrupted by Chidi he said "anyways there is a client i want you to meet with tomorrow evening his paying big money" Isabella was reluctant she said "how much" Chidi said "five million dollars and he wants only you to come" Isabella then said "my cut is two million dollars if not i would not show up". Chidi looked at Isabella and laughed.

Chapter 29 : Loud Noise

Kenny and his mother left the office building and headed towards the mansion, on the drive to the there home Adaora's mother said "his after the diamond mining firm" Kenny was so confused he said "what diamond mining firm" his mother replied "Chief Adebayo is after the diamond mining firm".

When they arrived at the mansion, Adaora's father hurriedly came towards Adaora's mother and said "what were you trying to do, this woman what is this" his wife was confused she said "who told you i was going to sign the papers" Adaora's father said "your son of cause".

Kenny had called his father earlier and told him everything, Kenny spoke "dad i told you i had this under control you don't have to scream at her" his father replied "young man get inside" Kenny and his mother were about to enter the mansion when they all heard a loud bang coming from the pool house.

They headed towards the pool house the special agents followed them, when they got to the pool house one of the maids shouted "fire fire fire" they were able to subdue the flames but they discovered something the fire did not just start randomly there was a detonator in sight which caused the fire.

Chapter 26 : Incident

The worst had happened to Chidi one his girls went missing after hooking up with a client, Chidi did not know what to do, he was not bothered about her missing he was more concerned about the money he was about to loose that night, so he decided to call Isabella, the phone rang a few times but she would not pick up, Chidi was furious he went to Aisha's place.

When he arrived he got out of his car and went to knock on the door Aisha said "who is that i am coming" she answered the door and saw a very handsome Chidi looking at her, Chidi was also amazed he had never seen a girl so beautiful, he thought he was in love.

Chidi was lost for words Aisha then said "who are you looking for" Chidi then said "umm no one i mean Isabella" he was so disappointed in himself he laughed and shook his head in shame, Aisha also giggled a bit she then said "your Isabella's boyfriend right" Chidi was shocked he said "no i am not we are just friends" Aisha was surprised but she hid her expression, Chidi then asked her what her name was Aisha told him, Aisha did the same Chidi said "i am Chidi so nice to meet you Aisha".

Chapter 28 : Mercenaries

Because of his affluence Tonye had big connections he gently opened the door to a building across town and walked in, there were ten skilled able bodied mercenaries standing before him, they greeted him "afternoon sir" he replied "yes afternoon, to the task at hand a girl is missing and i need her to be found asap".

Raj was on his laptop computer working on locating Adaora through her mobile number, this could actually work Raj thought to himself, a few minutes later he said "yes i found her" he called Tonye and said "i have found her i will send her location" Tonye replied "thanks man i owe you one" with that Tonye hung up the call.

Adaora could not stop crying at the location she was being held captive, Joanne walked in and said "you are still crying" Adaora replied in tears "why are you doing this i helped you at the salon just" Joanne interrupted her "just what Adaora, do you know how it feels to be rejected by your own mother do you look at me" Adaora was so sacred.

Adaora replied "i don't know how it feels joanne but am sure our mother would like to see you" Joanne said in anger "lies that is a lie she abandoned me when i was a little baby with that aweful woman who mistreated me i hate her" all Adaora wanted to do was escape from her captors, she wished she was at the mansion in her own room right now.

Chapter 25 : You Tricked Me

Isabella arrived Aisha's place and she waited for Chidi to send her the money, she paced back and forth in the bedroom their was still no ding on her phone she practically waited a whole day and finally she heard a ding on her phone she looked to see the amount, she converted the naira equivalent into dollar in her head it was not complete, Chidi had only sent two hundred thousand dollars to her instead of five hundred thousand she was angry.

She decided to call Chidi which she did the phone rang a few times before he picked the call he said "hello" Isabella said "this money is not complete you only sent two hundred thousand instead of five hundred thousand why" Chidi laughed a bit and said "that is because the client was not satisfied with your performance".

Isabella was so angry she said "why are you doing this please give me the rest of the money" Chidi replied "no i won't you should perform better next time moreover five hundred thousand is a lot of money for you" with that he laughed and hung up the call.

Isabella was so angry she had being tricked, she felt so uneasy with herself, she was the one selling her body and Chidi was pratically taking ninety percent of the money but what could she do.

Chapter 27 : How Many Carats

When Kenny arrived at his mother's office building, he sighted his mother's car, he immediately ran past the security doors and tapped the elevator button so many times for it to open, it eventually opened, he quickly got in pressed the floor he was going to mutiple times for the elevator doors to close.

When he got to the top floor he ran out once again and headed straight to his mother's main office, when he got there he saw his mother in tears, she was about to sign the papers, he quickly rushed and grabbed it from her and said in a calm tone "mom why are you doing this don't sign this papers i told you i was going to handle it" his mother was utterly devastated she said "i do not want your sister to be sold into slavery". Kenny was shocked by what he had heard.

Adaora's father was in the mansion's home office trying to figure out why Chief Adebayo wanted his wife's assets and the corporations, unkown to Adaora's father his wife also owned a diamond mining firm in South Africa which brought in trillions of dollars every year.

Adaora's mother had kept it hidden from her husband and children for years it was tied to her other corporations so it could not be traced, when the wicked Chief Adebayo found out about it he wanted Adaora's mother to sign over ownership of her assets and Corporations to him.
