Chapter 49 : Travel The World

Adaora was at the condo's lobby giving Tonye a kiss when her driver arrived she said "baby so when are we leaving" Tonye looked into her eyes and said "is tomorrow too early" slowly biting his lips, Adaora pulled him slowly while holding his hand and said "i would pack a few things then, and meet you at the private airport" Tonye replied "i would be in the jet waiting for you eh my woman". 

Adaora's driver opened the back seat door Adaora got in car while smiling at Tonye, on the drive home Adaora could not stop thinking about the night she had with Tonye he was really great in bed, but she also dreaded going back to the mansion.

When they arrived at the mansion Adaora quickly grabbed her small bag and went in to pack a big luggage, she was going to be away for six months with Tonye she needed to pack nice things, so she pressed the telecom and said "come and help me pack" to one of the maids the maid replied "yes ma" 

The maid went to Adaora's bedroom as quickly as she could when she got there Adaora said "start with the shoes and sun hats" the maid replied "yes ma, should i also remove the price tags from the hats" Adaora replied "yes of cause".

Chapter 45 : Even You

When the cops arrived Mike let them in and Isabella told them everything, one of the cops said "have you being in contact with any journalist" Isabella said "yes i spoke to her about two weeks ago we had lunch at a restaurant her name is Ming" one of the police officers said "Ming she's not a journalist she works for British intelligence or worked for, she was actually fired three years ago for misconduct so they say but am sure its the people high up who fired her for digging in to much into the elite pact. Isabella screamed "they are going to harm me no wonder they made me sign a paper at the party" the same cop said "what paper did they make you sign"

Isabella told them how she signed a paper before she and Chidi were allowed to go into the party, the same cop asked Isabella who Chidi was, Isabella told them and how he misled her into signing the paper.

The cop said to Isabella "you have to corporate with us, you are still in contact with that Chidi man and listen you would tell him you are trouble so he can come to Morocco and then we nail him and the elite pact together okay" Isabella then said "i have really not being in contact with Chidi for over two years now he might" she was interrupted by the cop who said "call him and tell him anything we need to nail him". Isabella nodded her head in agreement.

Chapter 48 : Globetrotter

Tonye looked into Adaora's eyes and said "i love you so much" Adaora replied "i love you too" Tonye had a masters degree in design and he did some design projects to keep busy he then suggested to Adaora that she come with him on his recent trips Adaora replied "why" Tonye replied "so you can see the world my love, not from a jetsetter's perspective but from a design perspective" Adaora kissed him on the lips they went into the bedroom and made sweet love that night.

Adaora woke up the next morning with smiles on her face, she went into the bathroom to brush her teeth and then went to meet Tonye at the dinning table Tonye saw her and smiled he said "my love breakfast is served" Adaora looked at the perfectly plated meal and said "you did not prepare this, did you" Tonye replied "no i did not the chef did" Adaora started laughing she said "what i knew it you can't cook".

Tonye looked at her and said "can you" Adaora then  quietly sat down for breakfast they had a little chat Adaora put a grape in her mouth chewed and said "i am going to come with you on your trips i thought about it i mean why not" Tonye was so happy "so your ready to live this city and go on a six month design trip with me" Adaora nodded her head and said "yes" Tonye tickled her in a playful way, he was excited.

 

Chapter 44 : On The Run

Isabella sat down on her first class seat and put on her seat belt, the man be side her kept staring at her Isabella was so scared so she closed the door to her seat, it was a seven hour flight but to Isabella it felt like eternity, when they eventually arrived Morocco, Isabella got down from the aircraft and proceeded to get her bag.

when she got their that same man was obviously still following her and he was making it obvious that he was staring at her, Isabella was so scared she saw her bag quickly grabbed it and went outside the Moroccan airport to hail a taxi, she got into the taxi and headed straight to Mike's hotel, when they arrived she called Mike, Mike told the hotel front desk to give her a key card to his hotel room which they did. 

Isabella was so glad to see Mike she hugged him and broke out in tears, Mike said to her "the people after you are called the elite pact and they would not stop until they find you" Isabella was even more scared she then said "what do we do now" Mike said "you just have to stay here i have contacted the cops they would be here shortly" Isabella cried her eyes out she said "what about if they have the cops on their pay roll i don't want them to harm me".

Chapter 47 : Let's Travel

Adaora was so angry she went to her room, packed an overnight bag and headed straight to her car, her father saw her carrying a small bag and asked "were are you going to young lady" she walked past her father and said "don't wait up dad" with that she called her driver and they were on their way to Tonye's downtown condo.

When they arrived the condo she said to her driver "you can leave now i would call you tomorrow and you better come early" he driver replied "yes ma" she then proceeded to the condo's lobby and gave Tonye a call he answered and said "hey my love just press the penthouse suit i would let you in".

Adaora did so but she was not expecting what she saw next when she arrived the penthouse the elevator doors opened, she was amazed she saw rose petals carefully scattered on the floor and a candle light dinner, was Tonye going to propose she thought to herself, Tonye then walked towards her and said "hey dear i missed you" he gave her a kiss on the cheek, and then ushered her to the candle light dinner table.

They laughed and talked for two hours, then Adaora asked "why did you do all this" Tonye jokingly said "so i can get you into bed" Adaora had a serious look on her face Tonye immediately said "am just joking ah your too serious" with a smile on his face.

Chapter 43 : Flight Delayed

Isabella got into the airport and proceeded to check in her bag, while she was doing that there was an announcement that all flights to Morocco would be delayed, Isabella almost tripped to ground, some one touched her, she was startled and the woman said "your shoe lace is untied" Isabella looked at her sneakers and bent down to tie her shoe lace.

When she was done, she quickly went to the the vip Airport lounge she thought she would be safe their, she showed them her boarding pass and they allowed her in, when she sat down, she was still not relieved, this people watching her might be in here, so she thought, an hour went by, then the flight to Morocco arrived.

They called for boarding and Isabella so frightened as she was proceeded to board the flight, while they were boarding she saw Lauren, Lauren walked up to her and said "long time no see you are going to Morocco too" Isabella was surprised to see Lauren what are the odds she thought to herself, Isabella said "yes i am in a hurry" Lauren smiled and said "aren't we all in a hurry" with that Lauren walked to her seat on the flight. Isabella wondered why Lauren would say that and why she was on the same flight as she, was she also trailing her.

Chapter 46 : The Firm

Adaora's grandfather was not surprised at all he said "how were you able to keep the diamond mining firm a secret from me, that's my daughter i" he was then interrupted by Adaora's father who said "excuse me sir with all due respect that is not the issue here she has an illegitimate daughter some were and you are talking about a firm" Adaora's grandfather spoke "and so what".

Adaora's grandfather turned to Adaora's mother and said "i thought i told you to abort that child years back now see it what does she want money" it was so tensed that Adaora's mother yelled "i could not abort my own child i left her with a woman whom i thought would care for her, and you know what the diamond mining firm in South Africa is technically illegal" Adaora's grandfather yelled "what this girl" with that Adaora's mother walked out of the dinner table.

Adaora stood up dropped her table napkin and said "there goes dinner we should do this more often" she then left the dinner table also, Kenny and his father followed her, Adaora's grandfather placed his hand on his forehead in thoughts, Peggy his young wife still in shock said "what is going on" Adaora's grandfather replied "can't you see for yourself".

Chapter 42 : Present Day

Two years went by Mike and Isabella were still together, Mike went on a work trip to Morocco, Isabella was at a fancy resturant having lunch when two men walked up to her, one of the men said "can we seat" Isabella was so scared for once in her life, she said "no you can't please seat some were else" one of the men then said "we are not asking" with that they both sat down on the chairs.

one of them said "we have being watching you and that pretty journalist for a while now and we think its time for you to pay" with that Isabella quickly got up from her chair and left the restaurant in a hurry.

While she was driving so fast she called Mike, Mike picked up the call, Isabella said "baby they are after me, Mike said "sweetheart calm down who is after you" Isabella then said "they want to harm me" Mike then said "Isabella you are not making sense you know what come and meet me in Morocco i would keep you safe" Isabella said "okay i would" with that she hung up the call.

Isabella decided to fly commercial but unknown to her the Elite pact had connections every were even at the airport, the traffic on the road was to much so she decided to pack her car and walk to the airport, she then called the driver and said "i packed the car at the airport road come and pick it up" the driver said "yes madam" Isabella walked so fast she almost started running but she did not want to draw any attention to herself so she stopped and just walked fast enough to get to the airport entrance.

Chapter 45 : Dinner Table

It was a nice evening and dinner was being served at the mansion the huge dinning table was set with a variety of delicacies to choose from, one of the maids set down a big bowl of salad served in a crystal bowl, surprisingly everyone was home for dinner even Adaora's grandfather's young wife was present.

They began eating Adaora's mother spoke "its nice to have everyone at the dinner table for once" Kenny gave her a surprising stare and said "what do you mean mom" facing her meal his mother replied "we should do this more often don't you think so Adaora" Adaora was also surprised but she kept her cool she said "yes mommy dearest" while fiddling with her meal, her mother said "i have something i would like to share with everyone", everyone including Peggy Adaora's grandfather's young wife lifted their heads up from their gold mosaic plates waiting to hear what she had to say.

Tears came rolling down Adaora's mother's eyes her husband was shocked he dropped his fork and he said "what is it again" Adaora's grandfather rudely interrupted him and said "would you let her speak" Adaora's mother spoke "i have a daughter aside Adaora which none of you know about and a pure  diamond mining firm in South Africa" they were all shocked aside Adaora and her grandfather.

Chapter 41 : You Have What

Isabella arrived her new duplex with her other things she got down from the car and proceeded to enter the duplex she was so amazed, so this is all mine she thought to herself, She saw Mike at the seating room and said "come and show me the bedroom" Mike smiled and said "but i already did" Isabella said "come and show me again" with that they went to the bedroom.

Isabella locked the door and slowly took of her clothes, Mike then looked at her and said "we can't do this" Isabella shamefully put her clothes back on and said "why Mike but we like each other" Mike then said "i have Hiv" Isabella looked at him and said "you have what Mike" Mike then said "Hiv".

Isabella sat on the floor of the bedroom Mike came towards Isabella she said in anger "please don't touch me" Mike sat on the bed he then said "i contacted it from my ex girlfriend she was so loose with men" Isabella said "and you were going to tell me this when" Mike interrupted her and said "okay am sorry but that is why i did not want to have sex with you".

Isabella wiped her eyes and thought of all she could loose if she walked out, but she was also in love with Mike, she then moved closer to Mike held him and said "its okay let's go have lunch i am okay with it" Mike was surprised he said "are you sure" she kissed him on the lips and said "its going to be hard not to have sex with a fine man like you" they both laughed and went to have lunch at the beautiful dinning table.

Chapter 44 : My Own Share

Choi grew up in Australia, he was from a very wealthy family but was disowned by his parents some years ago for a drunken driving incident, any time he remembers the incident that led to him being broke with nothing he would cry so much, he really needed the money from Joanne and he was going to get it or else he would go to the cops with their evil plans.

Adaora's mother decided to tell Adaora about her long lost daughter, Adaora and her mother had not said a word to each other after the welcome home party which was a few days back, so Adaora's mother pressed the telecom in her room and asked one of the maids to call Adaora, the maid said on the telecom "yes ma i would do that right away".

The maid went to Adaora's bedroom knocked slightly on the door but there was no answer so she opened the door Adaora was not there, the maid left the room, closed the door and proceeded to the master bedroom, the maid knocked once again Adaora's mother said "come in" the maid entered and said "she is not in her room ma, i think she stepped out" Adaora's mother waved her hand and told the maid to go the maid left.

Adaora's mother decided to call her on her mobile phone but Adaora was not picking her call, Adaora's mother left a message which said "i would like to tell you everything you need to know come home early" with that she put her mobile phone on the bedside table.

Chapter 40 : Controversial

Isabella ignored them, she did not want anything to ruin her mood, so she went into the bedroom to pack her things, Aisha came running towards her and said "Isabella am sorry i don't know what came over me" Isabella said while packing her things "its okay i was going to tell you am moving out but you are clearly busy". 

Aisha then said "moving to were Isabella i said i was sorry moreover he said the both of you are just friends" Isabella then said "look Aisha i just want to tell you Chidi is manipulative" Aisha then said in a calm tone "but i like him his nice to me" Isabella said "Chidi is a bad boy i have told you" with that she picked up her bags and said again "i would give you the address to were i now stay" she hugged Aisha and left.

Chidi approached Aisha and said "what did she tell you and were is she going to with those bags" Aisha was not in the mood any more she said "Chidi please leave i need some time to myself" Chidi was not having it he said "why what did that slut tell you" Aisha then said "she did not tell me anything just leave" Chidi then said "Aisha i like you so much i would do anything for you" and he meant it chidi was in love, Aisha said in anger "just leave i don't want anything with you" with that Chidi left he was so upset.

Chapter 43 : Settlement

Before Kenny left his mother's master bedroom he looked at her with a smile on his face and said "i hope you would not be attending that annual gala filled with unhappy women" his mother smiled and threw a pillow at him, she said "go away you naughty boy" Kenny was so happy to see a smile on his mother's beautiful face he said "okay okay" he closed the door quietly and left to go see Belinda.

Choi the stranger who tackled Samantha at Adaora's welcome home party was being questioned by the police at their headquarters they were clearly not impressed by his heroic behaviour at the party one of the cops said "why play the hero what if you got shot by that woman" Choi replied with arrogance "i hardly think so i went from behind moreover she was" he was interrupted by another cop "moreover she was what, please leave here and don't do that again".

A few moments after they let Choi go he headed to Joanne's hiding place, he stormed in and said "i need my balance now" Joanne refused to give him the balance of his money instead she said "what balance you were meant to follow her every were not play the hero at her party" with that Choi left in anger and banged the door behind him.

Chapter 39 : Three Cars

Mike then said "i have one more surprise for you" he picked up his phone and made a call, a few minutes later three continental prado Suv in different colours drove into the drive way, Isabella looked at Mike, Mike then said "you don't have to pick one they are all yours" Isabella screamed again and almost fell to the ground she was so excited she said "Mike you are the best" Mike then led the way into the duplex.

He showed Isabella around the duplex and said to her "are you moving in now or" Isabella nicely interrupted him and said "yes i am moving in now can i go get the rest of my stuff from Aisha's place" Mike said to her "yes you can on one condition" Isabella looked at him and said "what Mike" Mike then said "you take one of your new cars" Isabella jumped in excitement again and said "okay don't leave i mean i would soon be back" she got into one of her cars and the driver drove away.

When they arrived Aisha's place, Isabella wondered how she was going to tell Aisha about her moving into a new duplex, she can move in with me she thought to herself, Isabella opened the door to her surprise she Aisha and Chidi Kissing.

Chapter 42 : Vote

The head of the annual gala planning committee Teressa was not having it she snapped her fingers and said "lets put it to a vote all in favour of not having the annual gala here raise your hands" most of the women raised their hands, she counted all of them with excitement, then she said "if you want our prestigious annual gala to be held here raise your hands" only two women sluggishly raised their hands out of pity.

Teressa was a mean girl she liked the fact that she was in control she said "its settled we would have the annual gala at my mansion" with a devilish smile on her face, with that they all walked out of the mansion and headed towards their exotic cars. 

But one of the women who voted out of pity quickly went to meet Adaora's mother and said "we are so sorry but its for the best interest of the annual gala i would come and see you later my dear" with that she hugged Adaora's mother and hurriedly left.

Kenny came down the stairs and saw in his mother in tears he said "why are you crying again what is it this time mom" his mother replied "they are not having the annual gala here they are having it at that awful Teressa's mansion" Kenny replied "mom don't worry there would be other" his mother interrupted him and said "Kenny other what if not for your sister's abduction all this would not be happening my social life is ruined" Kenny replied he said "mom don't say that those women do know your worth now stop crying" with that he took his mother to her master bedroom.

Chapter 38 : Duplex

They next day Mike and Isabella explored Monte Carlo they went on a cruise in his Yacht, had lunch in a fancy resturant and did some more designer shopping for the usual clothes, shoes and handbags money was nothing to Mike for a week in Monte Carlo he spent a few thousand euros here and there on Isabella, for once she felt like she belonged.

When they were back in Nigeria, Mike's driver came to pick them up from the airport, Mike said to his driver "to the new duplex" his driver replied with a "yes sir" they headed towards the nicer parts of Benue they finally arrived an amazing street filled with beautiful duplexes, Isabella wondered why they were here but she did not ask.

The driver finally arrived at one of the duplex, Mike made a call and the gates opened, when they got down from the car Isabella just stood there admiring the edifice, two maids came out to greet Mike and Isabella, Mike then said "Isabella do you like this duplex, Isabella nodded her head she said "yes Mike" Mike brought out the keys to the duplex and said "because its yours" Isabella screamed out loud this time she coud not contain her excitement, Mike dropped the key in her hands, Isabella was even more excited she jumped up and down and then proceeded to hug Mike.

Chapter 41 : Annual Gala

Adaora's father quietly walked in on them and said "goodafternoon sir how are" he was interrupted by Adaora's grandfather who said "i do not need your pleasantries where were you when all this was happening you better count yourself lucky nothing happened to my grand daughter" Adaora's mother spoke "daddy why are talking to my husband like that i don't like it" Adaora's grandfather replied "why won't i, please out of my way you two" with that he proceeded to the mansion's guest room.

The annual gala planning committee arrived the mansion in their exotic cars they were middle aged glamorous women they looked so shiny in their expensive designer clothes, they all walked into the mansion, they were seated in the grand living room waiting for Adaora's mother.

When Adaora's mother came down the stairs to the living room she also looked so shiny and glamorous in her dolce and gabbana dress, she gave the ladies air kisses on both cheeks and sat down, the head of the annual gala planning committee stood up with poise her name was Teressa.

Teressa had a lot on her mind she spoke to Adaora's mother in a rude but calm tone "a lot has being happening in this mansion from abductions to shots being fired in the air to the cops crawling everywere i don't think our prestigious annual gala should be held here" Adaora's mother stood up in anger and said "why Teressa, why are you saying all this you know the annual gala" she was interrupted by Teressa who said "i know it has being held in your home for years but with the recent events going on i do not feel comfortable here" some of the women from the annual gala planning committee said "yes your right".

Chapter 37 : The Hotel

Mike and Isabella walked into the hotel room suit, Isabella was amazed by how massive the room was she immediately went to hug Mike again and then she proceeded to go have her shower in the gold  bathroom, Mike went to join her but they did not have sex, Isabella wondered why Mike had never touched her not even a kiss on the lips.

When they got out of the shower they put on their bath robes and Mike said to Isabella "should i order room service" Isabella was only used to having sex in a hotel and they usually threw her out when they were done so she did not know what room service was she said "Mike what is room service" Mike looked at her and said "do you want to eat anything like have breakfast with me" Isabella was so happy she said "yes order room service" with that Mike did order a whole lot because he planned on staying in with his girl Isabella.

When they were done eating Isabella went to put on her clothes she really liked Mike and the way he treated her, she went to Mike to kiss him on his lips but Mike held her and said "i can't have sex with you" Isabella was a bit annoyed she said "why Mike i thought you like me" Mike then said "i would tell you why when we get back to Nigeria" Isabella said "okay" with that she went to lay on the bed alone.

Chapter 40 : Grandfather

Kenny was fond of his grandfather so was Adaora, they saw their grandfather and immediately went to give him a big hug, they were like babies around there grandfather Kenny spoke "grandad what are you doing here" his grandfather replied "well i heard what happened and i decided to come see my grand kids" he looked at Adaora and said "my angel how are you i hope they did not hurt" Adaora quickly interrupted him with a smile and said "grandad no i was saved at the nick of time".

Her grandfather felt a little relieved he then asked "by who my angel" Adaora replied "by my prince charming Tonye" Kenny was surprised he said "oh his your prince charming now i thought you didn't" he was then interrupted by his mother who said "who do we have here, daddy you did not tell me you were coming" Adaora's grandfather replied "do i need an invitation to come see my grand kids".

Adaora's mother said with a smile on her face "daddy you won't seize to amaze me" Adaora's grandfather replied "were was that your husband when all this was happening at the country club i presume gossiping with his friends" Adaora's grandfather did not really like Adaora's father, he felt his daughter married a goldigger, she could have married a man from a wealthy background just like she, but she would not, instead she married for love.

Chapter 36 : The Trip

After a week, Isabella packed her designer clothes into her bags, she was waiting on Mike to come pick her up so they could head to the airport, Mike then arrived with his driver in a very luxurious Suv, the driver went to Isabella, took her bags and put it in the booth of the Suv, Isabella kissed Mike on the cheek as usual and they drove away.

They arrived a private airport, their bags were being checked in by the concierge, Mike then said to Isabella "i have a surprise for you" Mike pulled out Isabella's green passport, Isabella almost screamed she said "my very own passport thank you so much" with that they proceeded to board his private jet.

Isabella had also never being on a private jet, so she she sat down on the soft leather seat while staring at the beautiful air hostess who brought her a glass of champagne, Isabella took the glass and said "thank you" Mike came and sat down beside her and said "your first time flying" Isabella said "yes Mike" he then placed his hand on her hand and said "don't be nervous am here" Isabella was so relieved.

Early the next day, they arrived a private airport in Monte Carlo, their bags were being put in a luxury Suv, Isabella and Mike entered the car and the driver took them to their hotel, when Isabella got out of the car, she could not believe she was in another country staying in a grand hotel, were only the wealthiest people of the world stayed, she thought to herself my nightmares are over.
