Chapter 22 : Where Are You

Kenny stood up with so much rage in him and said "mom i mean it don't sign those papers we could loose everything" his mother replied "but your sister could be" Kenny interrupted his mother "there could be another way out of this" his mother looked at him with tears in her eyes and said "Chief Adebayo is a wicked man, i don't know what to do".

Kenny took his mother's hand and held it firmly he said "mom there is always a way out trust me" with that he hugged his mother and took her to her room.

Samantha drove slowly so deep into the woods not stopping for anything or anyone in her yellowish hummer suv, she arrived at a house, parked her car and stepped out, she then walked quietly into the house and said "were is she" to one of the goons, he pointed towards a red door, she walked towards the door and opened it, she looked at Adaora with so much disdain, she practically hated Adaora and her family.

Samantha spoke "well well well what do we have here is it little miss Adaora" Adaora was even more surprised she said "Samantha your are in on this too" Samantha was Chief Adebayo's daughter, she was a high level executive at her one of her father's companies, Samantha was just as bad as her father Chief Adebayo who had aquired all his companies though illegal ways.

Chapter 19 : My Money

She immediately put the one she had changed into naira underneath the bed again, and let out a loud scream, she ran outside and shouted "thieves thieves thieves oh" the other girls that lived in the vicinity came running towards her they said "what happened Isabella were are the thieves" Isabella said while crying "they came they took the chairs and the television" one of the girls reluctantly asked "Isabella did you lock the door with a key" Isabella was quiet, the girls all looked at each other, hissed and left a crying Isabella.

A few minutes later her iphone rang it was Chidi, she wiped her eyes and said "hello" Chidi laughed at the other side of the line and said "why are crying" Isabella was shocked she said "how did you know i was crying" Chidi then said "i have collected my own share of the money Jubril gave you okay, next time don't keep it all to yourself" with that he hung up the call.

Isabella let out another loud scream while hitting the ground a couple of times, she went to the room and sat on the bed a lot was going through her mind then Aisha walked in and said "what happened here, were is the television were are the chairs" she then walked into the bedroom and met Isabella.

Chapter 21 : The Location

Adaora's father was confused, what was going on, who did his wife speak to on the phone, he said "woman you better talk now who was that" Adaora's mother was perplexed she said "he said i should sign the papers oh" with her hands on her head still crying, Adaora's father was annoyed he thought it was one of those cheap contractors, he said "sign what papers".

One of the special agents walked in on Adaora's mother and father and said "we have her location" Adaora's father immediately said "okay i would come with you" the special agent spoke "no it might be dangerous" Adaora's father was so angry he said "we are talking about my daughter here please let's go" with that they both walked out of the mansion's home office leaving Adaora's mother in tears.

Kenny went to comfort his mother he had heard the conversation between his father and mother he said "mom what is actually going on sign what papers" his mother lifted her head and said "we are in trouble my son oh" Kenny was also confused what did his mother mean, he said "how what trouble".

His mother began explaining things to him and what was to come in the near future, Kenny was surprised all their wealth was about to be taken away from them, their assets, cars, mansions and even their corporations, Kenny was not having it he said "no mom don't sign the papers i don't care just don't.

Chapter 18 : Sanitize

She heard foot steps and a voice that said "who left this door open" it was Aisha's voice, Isabella then proceeded to hide the suit case filled with dollars underneath the bed, she took of her dress and also hid it in her box and tied a towel, Aisha saw Isabella and said "hmm where did you go to last night". 

Isabella was not in the mood for questions so she said rudely "that is non of your business" with that Isabella went into the bathroom, Aisha then said "is my business because this is my house" Isabella ignored Aisha's word and proceeded to have her bath, while she was bathing she thought out loud "so i can make this much money in one night" she decided that she was going to the nearest bureau de change, she was going to change fifty thousand dollars out of the one million dollars.

She quickly came out of the bathroom wore her clothes, took out fifty thousand dollars, put back the case underneath the bed and headed towards the nearest bureau de change, but she forgot to lock the door. She was able to change the fifty thousand dollars to naira and she headed back to Aisha's place. When she got there the door was open, she immediately went inside and found out some items had being stolen like the two plastic chairs and the Television, she quickly ran to check underneath the bed, the case filled with her dollars was also stolen.

Chapter 20 : Sign The Papers

The telephone at the mansion rang, it was a strange number, Adaora's father immediately answered "yes who is this" the special agents gave him a signal that he should keep talking, Adaora's father spoke again "yes who is on the line" an electronic voice said "give the phone to her".

Adaora's father was furious once again he said in anger "i do not have the time for this give the phone to who" the voice spoke "your wife give the phone to your wife" with that Adaora's father quickly sent one of the maids to call Adaora's mother.

When Adaora's mother came to pick up the phone her husband shoved it in her face "its for you" Adaora's mother spoke "yes who is this" Chief Adebayo spoke "my darling how are you" the voice sounded familiar to Adaora's mother, Chief Adebayo spoke again "you have twenty four hours to sign those papers or else i would sell your daughter into slavery" with what she had heard Adaora's mother hung up the call, more tears rolling down her eyes, she let out a loud scream.

Adaora's father immediately went towards her and grabbed the phone he said "hello hello hello" he then turn towards Adaora's mother in anger he said "who was that" Adaora's mother could not speak, she only screamed louder and louder.

Chapter 17 : More Money

Isabella wondered how she was going to get home, Jubril was waiting for her answer, Isabella then said "i came here all by myself"Jubril smiled and then  whispered into her ears "would you really like to go somewhere with me" Isabella was definitely in the mood she replied back into Jubril's ears "yes i sure would like that" she was a bit tipsy, so she followed Jubril to his private hotel room they had rough sex that night.

The next morning Isabella woke up on the soft hotel room sheets so smooth to the touch, she had never slept on anything as nice as this in her entire life, breakfast was on the table, Jubril was in shower, Isabella was so tired though, when Jubril came out of the shower he looked at Isabella with anger in his eyes and said "your still here" Isabella was surprised was it the same guy she spoke to last night.

Jubril then went to the wardrobe and brought out a case of money he threw the case at Isabella and said "pick it up and get out or i would have my men throw you out" Isabella hurriedly picked up the case of money and ran out with her shoes in her hands, when she arrived Aisha's place, she opened the door and entered the house, when she got to the room she decided to open the case, she was so amazed at what she saw, it was dollar bundles, she decided to count the money one by one, she was so shocked at how much she had counted, one million dollars.

Chapter 19 : Room

Meanwhile Adaora was being held by her captives in a location far from were she had being abducted, Adaora did not know going to get a latte would lead to her abduction. She was so scared they put a dark velvet cloth over eyes so she would not know were they were taking her, they locked her in a room.

Adaora yelled and screamed "my parents are very wealthy they can pay you just let me go please" suddenly one of them came and removed the dark velvet cloth over eyes, to her surprise it was Joanne the woman she had helped at the salon, Adaora was shocked she said "you what do you want".

Joanne had being trailing Adaora for some months she had turned out to be Adaora's mother's long lost daughter but Adaora did not know this, she was unaware her mother had a child by another man, Joaanne explained this to Adaora while she was explaining another fellow walked in, it was chief Adebayo.

This was all carefully planned so Adaora thought, but chief Adebayo was her mother's friend what did he also want with her, Chief Adebayo spoke "Adaora my dear, how are you" he spoke while touching her beautiful face, Adaora spoke in fear "what do you want with me".

Chapter 16 : Am I In

Isabella saw top ranking officials, CEO's and even moguls that owned multi million dollar companies she was satisfied, i have made it she thought to herself, she looked at Chidi and smiled, Chidi looked at her and said "you look happy go mingle" Isabella was surprised once again at what Chidi had said she replied "i should go mingle but i" Chidi interrupted her and said "i mean it go mingle" she looked at him and said "okay".

Isabella just stood in one position with the glass of champagne half filled then a tall handsome man holding a big bottle of moet approached her, it was the son to the current emir of Kano, he looked at her and said "would you like some more" Isabella was so amazed that she said "more what sir" he laughed and said "more champagne" she looked down at her glass and said "yes i would" he then poured some moet champagne into her glass.

He then proceeded to ask her "what is your name" Isabella told him her name and said "what about you sir" he answered "i am Jubril and please stop calling me sir okay" they began chit chatting for a bit and Jubril then said "who did you come here with" Isabella looked around with her eyes but she could not find Chidi anywhere, unknown to her, Chidi had left the party to his condo about ten minutes ago.

Chapter 18 : I Told You

Kenny tried to stop his mother from crying, but she was unable to stop, she sobbed and sobbed, Kenny decided to go check on Belinda, when he got to his father's home office he could not find Belinda, it was just his father seating down with his hand on his head in anger.

Kenny realized his father had thrown Belinda out, Kenny said "dad you did not have to kick her out" his father was not in a great mood as Kenny could tell his father replied in anger "why shouldn't i at a time like this you bring your stupid female friends into my home office" Kenny replied "was that enough reason to kick her out, what about you, you were at the golf course playing golf with your old friends when" he was quickly interrupted by his father who said "i did not raise you to be rude young man now leave here" with that Kenny left his father's home office.

Belinda was on her way home when her phone rang it was the love of her life Kenny she answered the call immediately and said "baby you dad threw me out of the mansion" Kenny replied saying "am sorry babe is just that everyone is quite upset" Belinda then replied "meet me at our usual spot" Kenny replied "i would love too but not today" he then hung up the call.

Chapter 15 : How Could You

Isabella was even more amazed when they got into the party, the interior was so grand, everyone looked beautiful and this time she dressed the part so there were no awkward stares but one thing came to her mind there more pretty girls in the party walking around than there were men, she decided not to think so deep into it.

A middle aged man approached Chidi and nicely shook his hand the man's name was Jeffrey, he then looked at Isabella who was also staring at the grand decor and said to Chidi "is she the one" Chidi said with a smile on his face "yes she's the one" Jeffrey then ushered them into a room in the mansion, it was even more beautiful, it was like an office, they both sat on the expensive chairs and they were served champagne.

Then Jeffrey proceeded to pull out a paper from the desk and told Isabella to sign it, Isabella almost choked on her drink she said "why should i sign it" Jeffrey got a bit irritated and said to Chidi "you did not tell her" Chidi then wrongly explained to Isabella that is was for discretion, Isabella stupidly believed him and signed the paper, Jeffrey then ushered them into another part of the mansion, Isabella was so shocked and pleased at the same time by the calibre of people she saw next.

Chapter 17 : What Is This

Adaora's father quickly walked to the mansion's master bedroom were him and Adaora's mother slept, he stormed into the room in anger, he woke Adaora's mother up and said "this woman i warned you, you were to harsh on her were is my daughter".

Adaora's mother was in tears she said "i don't know you should ask that stupid driver" Adaora's father was furious "what driver are you not her mother were you not supposed to be there for her instead you threatened to cut her of" She was silent, still in tears.

Kenny walked in on them his father looked at him and said "and you were have you being all these months partying all over the globe i presume" Kenny replied "no dad i was working on" his father interrupted him "working on what chasing women and partying you call that work" Kenny was also silent, his father was so furious he left the room.

Belinda was still in the mansion's home office when Adaora's father walked in he said in anger "what is this, who keeps allowing these people in here, young lady what are you doing here" he called on one of the maids and asked angrily "who allowed this woman in here in my home office" the maid shivered and then replied "is Kenny" Adaora's father was still angry he said "young lady get out of here now" Belinda picked up her purse in fear and hurriedly left.

Chapter 14 : Classy

Chidi was also dressed in a black bow tie and a suit, he looked even more handsome so she thought, Isabella had no idea she going into something deep, so deep she would not be able to come out of it, Chidi looked at her and said "you look nice" Isabella smiled while touching her hair and said "you too".

Chidi then opened the door and said "shall we" they went towards the elevator, he pressed the button it opened and they entered the elevator, he pressed the L button the doors closed, they soon arrived the condo's lobby, they stepped out of the elevator and headed towards the escalade, they arrived at their destination it was a beautiful floral mansion were a classy party was being held.

The driver proceeded to open the door for Chidi and Isabella they stepped out of the car, Chidi said to the driver "i would call you, you know what to do" the driver nodded his head and left with the car, they went to the entrance, one of the security men said "name please" Chidi looked at Isabella and smiled he then said "Chidi" the security man checked the guest list, nodded his head and then let them in.

Chapter 16 : Guess Who

Kenny was in his thoughts, his phone rang again he was not willing to answer he looked at the screen it was Belinda, he picked up the call "hello Belinda" Belinda was so anxious she spoke "hello hello kenny i heard what happened how are you holding up" Kenny replied "what can i say she is missing my sister is missing" Belinda said "i am coming over".

Kenny was not in any mood he said "you don't have too" Belinda said "i am coming over now" Belinda arrived the mansion an hour later, she was denied entry by one of the special agents then Kenny said "you can let her in she's Adaora's best friend she might know something" they let her in, she gave Kenny a big hug and proceeded to kiss him on the lips, Kenny shoved her aside and whispered "not here woman".

They went into the mansion, Belinda took a seat in the mansion's home office not knowing what to expect, Kenny had never done that to her, he must really be devastated, Belinda and Kenny had always being in love with each other, Belinda replied "why did you push me aside" Kenny replied in anger "i did not push you, can't you see we have a situation, we can not be doing that, especially not here".

A few moments later Adaora's father drove into the mansion through the main gates, he stepped out of his Rolls Royce phantom looking agitated, he was on the golf course playing with old friends when he got a call that his daughter was missing.

Chapter 13 : Rich People

So this were the rich ones stay Isabella thought to herself, the door man opened the door for her she walked in, the concierge at the front desk said "here to see Mr Chidi i presume" Isabella nodded her head while admiring the condo's lobby, there was even a beautiful water fountain in the lobby, Isabella went towards the fountain to have a closer look, she even tried to touch it but was immediately stopped by the concierge who politely said "please don't touch that".

They proceeded to the elevator the concierge pressed the number twenty, the doors closed and the elevator took Isabella to the floor were Chidi lived, when the doors opened she saw Chidi who was waiting in the hallway for her, she stepped out of the elevator, she was so excited to see Chidi once again.

Chidi led the way, he opened the door and Isabella walked in she had never seen so many expensive things in one place, this guy must be really rich she thought to herself once again, unknown to Isabella Chidi actually came from a wealthy family, his parents owned a ton of oil blocks around the world even an oil rig they were really affluent, they had the nicest things money could buy such as cars, yachts, mansions even horses but Chidi was not good news.

Chapter 15 : Questions

Meanwhile Adaora's driver was being questioned by a detective at the mansion, Adaora's mother was not having it, she walked up to the driver with anger on her mind she hit him and spoke with tears rolling down her eyes "where is my daughter you idiot" one of the female special agents pulled her aside.

Adaora's mother said "why are you pulling me away you she be arresting this stupid driver" she wanted to hit him again the female agent pulled her aside again and said "you need to calm down ma or else" Adaora's mother interrupted "or else what".

Adaora's mother was so angry at every one, she spoke "i am giving you all forty eight hours to find my daughter, or else you all would be fired" she had this horrific look in her eyes, Kenny came along and said "mom you need to rest your a bit tired come" she followed her son, Kenny was so angry as well but did not show it in his expressions.

He gently tucked his mother into bed, closed the door quietly and thought to himself, who could be doing this to them, or could this be one of Adaora's tricks, but she was not known to trick anyone, she was annoying sometimes but she was his sister. He was so sad, he almost broke into tears.

Chapter 12 : The Gift

Isabella wondered why the delivery man was dressed in a suit holding the package, this must be an expensive gift she thought to herself, the delivery man then said "this is for you i would be waiting for you in the car" with that he headed towards the car, all the girls leaving in that vicinity came out to see the escalade packed in front of Aisha's place.

Isabella immediately went into the bedroom with the gift to see what it was, when she opened the package, their was another huge gift box, she then  opened it she saw the most beautiful dress and a note beside it which read "wear this and meet me tonight" Isabella was so happy, she immediately went to have her bath, put on the beautiful dress and went to meet the delivery man, everyone was staring at Isabella they even whispered amongst each other, Isabella ignored them and entered the escalade and the delivery man drove away.

When they arrived at the destination the delivery man who was actually a driver in a suit got out of the car and proceeded to open the door for Isabella, she stepped out of the car and she was so amazed by what she saw, a beautiful condominium, she had never been to this part of Benue in her whole life. 

Chapter 14 : Where Is She

Adaora's mother looked into the eyes of Adaora's driver and said with a loud voice "where is my daughter" the driver replied "i do not know ma please" Adaora's mother was about to lift her hand when kenny walked into the mansion he said "mom don't he probably does not know" he was calm but anxious at the same time.

A few moments later the mansion was filled with private agents they had thought the worse maybe she had being kidnapped, they were all waiting for a ransom call or something, Adaora's mother felt a little bit guilty, tears rolled down her eyes.

Kenny's phone rang it was Samantha, Kenny's girlfriend he answered the call not willing to talk "hey babe watsup" she replied with anger in her voice "were have you being you have not called me in two days now" Kenny replied saying "that's because i have being busy" samantha replied "too busy to call me, your girlfriend".

Kenny was agitated he said "look my sister Adaora is missing i don't have time for this" Samantha was shocked she said "wait what i thought" with that Kenny hung up the call, he could not be bothered by Samantha's rant.

Chapter 11 : The New Girl

Isabella immediately went to hug him and she also kissed him on the cheek and said "thank you so much i finally have a phone" Chidi looked at her and said "excuse me" Isabella thought Chidi was going to take the phone back because of what she had said, instead Chidi said "you now have the latest custom made iphone open it and look at the back".

Isabella did as Chidi had requested and she looked at the back it said "take care of me don't spoil me" Isabella smiled a bit and said "thank you so much how do i" Chidi interrupted her and said "its okay just don't spoil this one" Isabella jumped up and down and said "no i won't oh" with that Chidi gave her a hug and left.

Isabella could not stop admiring her new phone, it had also being setup for her, suddenly the phone rang and she answered, it was Chidi he said "by the way this is my number you can always call me i also sent you a gift it would arrive at your door step any moment from now", with that he hung up the call. 

A few moments later there was a knock on the door Isabella put on her slippers with excitement and went to see who it was, when she got to door she saw a delivery man, he was dressed in a suit with a huge package in his hands.

Chapter 13 : Private Jet

Louisa's colleagues looked at her and whispered "she is so brave" Louisa approached Adaora's office and walked in on Adaora crying, Louisa wanted to leave but she had a rethink she spoke "what is the matter ma you can talk to me i can help you".

Adaora ignored her then replied "help me with what i thought i told you to leave" she then picked up her phone "bring the car around" her driver immediately replied "yes ma" Adaora picked up a few things from the office and went towards the elevator, she pressed the elevator button and headed towards the office lobby.

Louisa followed her to the lobby handed her bag and left, Adaora's driver opened the door to the back seat, Adaora entered the car, her eyes were red from crying, her driver closed the door and asked "where to ma" Adaora replied "anywere but here" her driver started the engine and drove of.

Meanwhile in Ibiza, Kenny was on a beach checking out the ladies with his friends, his phone beeped, it was a text message from his mother it read "come home now your sister is missing" kenny got up from the beach chair and rung his chauffeur, when the chauffeur arrived, Kenny got into the car and placed another call "Ready the jet".

Chapter 10 : Who Is She

Isabella walked to her class with smiles on her face, she was so happy, she had finally struck gold, could he really be into me i mean he wanted to see me again she thought herself, meanwhile Maria and her friends who had seen Isabella step out of Chidi's car were wondering who she was Maria said to her friends "but Chidi has a girlfriend her name is Elsa they have been together for years now, who is this girl" her friends also wondered.

Maria immediately gave Elsa a call and told her what she had seen, Elsa was furious she said over the phone line "that stupid Chidi i am pregnant for him and he does this to me i swear if i get him" Maria immediately interrupted her and said "the stupid girl is in class now should we confront her" Elsa said "no not yet just find out who she is and were she comes from okay" with that Elsa hung up the call.

When lectures was over Isabella immediately went to wait for Chidi at the spot were he had dropped her, Isabella waited for atleast twenty minutes before he arrived, Isabella was so glad once again, she proceeded to the nice car, she opened the door, got in the car, closed the door and Chidi drove of. When they arrived Aisha's place, Chidi looked at the place with a little bit of disgust in his eyes he then said "you stay here you know what its okay i got you something" he brought out the brand new iphone he got for her, Isabella was so surprised and happy at the same time.

Chapter 12 : Discrepancy

Louisa adored Adaora so much, her designer clothes, the way she walked, infact everything about her, Louisa wished she could be Adaora anyways it was wishful thinking. 

Later that day in the office while Adaora was going through the documents she noticed something odd about the numbers, could this be true, Kenny her younger brother was on a spending spree in Ibiza, her mother had threatened to cut her of because of her excessive spending, while kenny was spending money from the Corporate accounts partying all over Ibiza.

She picked up her personal phone and dialed Kenny's number, it rang and kenny picked up and said "hello kenny on the line" Adaora was so furious she said "kenechukwu what are you doing spending money from the Corporate accounts" Kenny replied "am working on something" while staring at a girl at the beach, then he hung up.

Adaora was so annoyed, she decided to keep her composure, a slight knock on the door again it was Louisa "are you done signing the documents ma" Adaora replied in anguish "get out of my office now" Louisa was shocked what went wrong in this few minutes, on a second thought she decided to check up on her, she went back to Adaora's office.
