Chapter 12 : Discrepancy

Louisa adored Adaora so much, her designer clothes, the way she walked, infact everything about her, Louisa wished she could be Adaora anyways it was wishful thinking. 

Later that day in the office while Adaora was going through the documents she noticed something odd about the numbers, could this be true, Kenny her younger brother was on a spending spree in Ibiza, her mother had threatened to cut her of because of her excessive spending, while kenny was spending money from the Corporate accounts partying all over Ibiza.

She picked up her personal phone and dialed Kenny's number, it rang and kenny picked up and said "hello kenny on the line" Adaora was so furious she said "kenechukwu what are you doing spending money from the Corporate accounts" Kenny replied "am working on something" while staring at a girl at the beach, then he hung up.

Adaora was so annoyed, she decided to keep her composure, a slight knock on the door again it was Louisa "are you done signing the documents ma" Adaora replied in anguish "get out of my office now" Louisa was shocked what went wrong in this few minutes, on a second thought she decided to check up on her, she went back to Adaora's office.

Chapter 9 : Why Is He Nice

Chidi held Isabella while she sluggishly stood up, she dusted her dress then Chidi said "don't you recognise me" Isabella was a little bit shy she said "i don't or i should i" Chidi reminded her he said "the girl i rescued from drowing" Isabella said "wow that was you thank you so much i don't know to swim as you could tell" Chidi laughed a bit and said "its okay were are you heading too" Isabella was so glad she said "i am heading to lectures i mean class".

Chidi looked at her and smiled he said "can i take you to class so you won't be late for your lectures" could this be a dream come true Isabella thought to herself she said "yes i don't want to be late" with that they both got into the car.

When they arrived the lecture halls, Isabella was about to get down from the car when Chidi smiled and said "can i get your number" Isabella did not have a phone so she said "i don't have a phone yet i mean it got spoilt so i" Chidi interrupted her and said "its okay i want to see you again can i pick you up after lectures" Isabella was surprised she said "yes you can were should i wait for you" Chidi said "here wait for me here" with that Isabella got down from the car and headed towards her class.

Chapter 11 : Office

When Adaora arrived at her mother's office building, she headed straight to the conference room, as she walked in her high heels her hair bounced along, she was giving an office chic vibe and that was the look she was going for, she was quite early, she sat on the chair assigned to her.

Waiting for the board of directors to make there decision concerning certain matters was like piercing needles through her skin, she was so tired and she had not being their for more than three minutes but she had to put up a front.

Finally they were done, she quickly left for her office, she needed to make some changes to the space, she thought to herself, Adaora wanted to be taken seriously by her mother so she could unfreeze all her accounts and club memberships then she could go back to her normal life. Adaora's mother owned a chain of luxury hotels and resorts all over the world worth trillions of dollars they were really wealthy.

Suddenly there was a slight knock on the office door it was her personal secretary Louisa "goodmorning ma we need your signature on these recent projects" she had just arrived her office and she was already signing documents, Adaora replied "i would take a good look at all of them before i sign" Louisa replied "okay ma" she had no choice but to leave the documents on Adaora's desk.

Chapter 8 : Have We Met

Isabella woke up the next morning feeling tired, she stretched her hands and yawned a bit, she saw Aisha getting ready for lectures, Aisha said "madam goodmorning what happened to you yesterday, you came home looking like a wet dog" Isabella looked at Aisha and said "i don't want to talk about it" Aisha was unbothered she said "okay oh i am going to class" with that Aisha left for lectures.

Isabella decided to put what had happened to her aside and head to class, she thought out loud to herself "i am going to focus on my studies and forget about these rich boys" with that she went into the bathroom to have her bath, an hour later she was ready for lectures, she looked at her worn out sandals which was no good anymore and decided to wear Aisha's shoes, after she was done, she opened the door, came out, locked it and headed out to her first class.

On her way to her class which was on the main campus, she was still in thoughts as she held her course books in her hands while she walked slowly, she did not realize she was walking on the road, she almost got knocked down by a very nice car, the car stopped and Chidi got out, he quickly went towards her, held her by the shoulder and said "are you okay" Isabella looked at the handsome chidi and said "yes i am fine" she did not recognise him.

Chapter 10 : Who Are You

While Adaora was getting her beautiful long hair blow dried a not so familiar face walked into the luxurious salon, everyone looked at her like she was lost or something, one of the hairstylist walked up to her and said "this is an exclusive salon, do you have an appointment" the woman repiled "no i don't i was just walking by and i" before she could finish her sentence the hairstylist said "please you have to leave security".

To everyones surprise Adaora intervened "leave her i would pay for her hair, come sit" the hairstylist left and went to attend to another customer, Adaora was not particularly nice to people she did not know but what changed, Adaora proceeded to ask the woman her name "my name is Joanne" Adaora giggled a bit then thought to herself this woman Joanne could be part of her revenge plot.

A hairstylist immediately came to work on Joanne's hair, when she was done Joanne looked like a totally different person, Adaora looking good as always fluffed her hair a bit, looked at Joanne and gave her a compliment "you look way better" Adaora payed for Joanne's hair in cash, exchanged numbers with her and left.

Chapter 7 : Move Aside

Chidi was so surprised he said "what are you doing here" Elsa looked at him and the said "your asking me what am doing here please move aside" the door man was about to carry Elsa's bags into the condo when Chidi stopped him and said "look were are you carrying those bags too would you stand there" the door man was confused Elsa then said "Chidi leave the door man alone".

Chidi turned to Elsa and said "i ask again what are you doing here" Elsa came closer to Chidi looked into his eyes and said "i am moving in Chidi" Chidi laughed and said "your not serious you better leave here" Elsa was admiring the condo she then said "you should take me seriously i am not joking by the way i am also pregnant with your child" Chidi laughed once again to hide how shocked he was he said "you Elsa pregnant for me" Elsa nodded her head in a sarcastic manner.

Chidi then said "i need a paternity test done if not you can't stay here" Elsa replied "okay but i am still moving in" with that she sat on Chidi's expensive couch, Chidi was not having it he remembered how they broke up, he immediately walked up to Elsa grabbed her by the hand, pulled her and threw her out, he then said to the door man "you better take her with you or you loose your job" with that he shut the door.

Chapter 9 : A Changed Person

Adaora woke up the next morning feeling grumpy, the bed in the pool house was not as comfortable as the one her bedroom, she thought to herself could her day get any worse.

Adaora decided that nothing was going to upset her, she was going to prove to her mother that she could handle things but still carry out her revenge, she got out of bed went to the main house to take a shower.

The maids at the house greeted her "goodmorning ma" to their utmost surprise she replied "morning" and walked past them, they all smiled sheepishly, they thought to themselves madam's plan worked.

When Adaora entered her beautiful clean bedroom, she took of her clothes from yesterday, and hopped into the shower, while she was in the shower she thought of all the events of yesterday, who was out to get her she thought to herself.

She also had a hair appointment at the salon that morning, she would head to that, then head to her mother's office building for a meeting with the board of directors, Adaora actually had a degree in hospitality management, she could put that to good use, she wanted to prove to her mother that she was a changed person.

Her driver came around with the car and they drove to the first destination the salon, when she got to the salon she stepped out of the car and into the salon, the salon was so luxurious.
