Chapter 57 : The Caterers

It was the day of Adaora's engagement party she was so excited her mother even got her a new designer dress just for the party, everyone was busy with something at the mansion, the florists arrived with beautiful flower arrangements, there was a live band playing classical music and there was even an ice sculpture shaped like two swans kissing.

Everything was going great until the eventplanner went to meet Adaora's mother and said "we have a problem ma" Adaora's mother replied with a slight frown on her face "what is the problem now, don't tell me you ordered peach roses instead of pink roses my daughter would not be pleased" the pretty eventplanner replied "no ma that is not the problem, the caterers cancelled on us".

Adaora's mother was shocked she said "we have being using that catering service for years now what was their reason for cancelling" the eventplanner replied "they have being pre booked for one annual gala" Adaora's mother was furious but kept calm, she knew it was Teressa's doing, that awful woman she thought to herself, Adaora's mother then said "hire another catering service what is a party without food, look this girl you better not ruin today do your job after all you are being paid to do so" with that Adaora's mother walked towards her master bedroom to get dressed.

Chapter 5 : New York

When they arrived New York they both posted on their social media pages which said "we are in New York the big apple, ready to have so much fun" they soon arrived at their tribeca condo at the upper east side of Manhattan, they were so happy they felt free from their parents, they were going to take over the fashion world so they thought.

They settled into their condo they had a maid who unpacked their clothes colour cordinated them and put them in their huge closet some of their clothes still had the price tag on them, Deborah and Cynthia decided to go freshen up and explore the city, they also went for drinks with some old friends from university, soon they were so tired so they decided to go back to their condo on the upper east side.

When they arrived their condo the door man opened the door for them and they entered, the concierge  greeted them and they answered, they pressed their floor on the elevator, when they arrived their door they unlocked it and entered, they both took a nice long shower and went straight to bed. 

The next morning they woke up, took a shower, had breakfast and headed straight to main street were the textile company office was located, it was about a sixty minute drive from their tribeca condo.
